Liz Hinley

Liz Hinley is snuggled up in the Salt Lake City mountains, training full-time as a member of Team USA in coastal rowing and coaching athletes around the nation. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of North Texas as a percussion performance major, playing in a multitude of ensembles including Balinese Gamelan, Southern Indian, Trinidad and Tobago Steel Band, Concert Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, and Classical Percussion. She then earned her Master of Science in Kinesiology degree, where she conducted a meta-analysis on the benefits of music on athletic performance. If not playing her percussion instruments or rowing her little heart out on the Great Salt Lake, you can find her reading a book, drawing in her sketchbook, or playing with some cats and pups ... because who doesn’t love a fun fur ball!
