Kevin Chance

Kevin T. Chance, Associate Professor of Piano and chair of the Gloria Narramore Moody Piano Area at the University of Alabama, is a nationally recognized performer, clinician, and teacher. He has presented workshops, performances, and master classes throughout the United States and abroad. He has received numerous awards for his teaching, including the Alabama Music Teachers Association’s Teacher of the Year Award and the Music Educator of the Year Award from the Arts Council of Tuscaloosa. In 2019, he was inducted into the first Steinway Teacher Hall of Fame. He teaches an award-winning studio of students ranging from beginners to doctoral candidates.
