Barry Milner

Barry Milner is a freelance composer for concert band/orchestra and film. He has written many works for educational concert band and orchestras including “An Unending Legacy” and “In Honor of the Fallen” which is currently published by Alfred Publishing. Many of his works is featured on state concert band and orchestra lists, including the aforementioned pieces. His music is also featured in articles and reviews in “The SBO (School Band and Orchestra) Magazine”, “The Instrumentalist” and has been on the editors list at JWPepper.com on multiple occasions. Mr. Milner currently teaches at Eureka Springs School District in Arkansas. Whenever he is not writing or teaching, he enjoys reading and sitting on his deck in his back yard enjoying nature or enjoying a good movie. He is learning to write music to film. He also enjoys traveling to national parks for inspiration or simply to de-stress. He also works very hard at not trying to be the worst bowler or golfer ever. He is currently working a piece for orchestra entitled “Beside Still Waters” and “Elfstones: Part II-Mvt.VI-“Untitled”.
