Anna Clark
Anna Clark is a seventeen year-old music entrepreneur and philanthropist. In 2012, Anna started Guitars 4 Gifts, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides musical instruments to under served groups who cannot afford them. To date, G4G has given away about 100 instruments to under served groups in the US, Africa, and China to promote healing and communication. To learn more, go to www.guitars4gifts.org. In 2017, Anna founded Native Scene Records. This new record label puts on music festivals in unique spaces, and then records and releases the shows as live albums. Currently, their first festival is scheduled for the summer of 2018.
Anna Clark is also a singer/songwriter and guitarist. She records all of her own music and writes in a unique percussive guitar style. She started playing percussive style guitar after listening to many full rock bands and electronic music, and wanting to emulate a full band with just her guitar and vocals.
Multiple articles have been written about Anna's work with Guitars 4 Gifts and Native Scene Records including some in the Women’s International Music Network, sixdegrees.org, Music Row Magazine, and on Lightning 100’s show Nashville by Nicole. She has also played her original music live on radio stations such as Lightning 100. Last year, Anna and Guitars 4 Gifts appeared on Real People by Rudy Kalis on Channel 4 News, Nashville’s NBC affiliate.
