Ensemble Development for Young Concert Band

Teachers widely adopt the complete Sound Innovations for Concert Band: Ensemble Development series. Boonshaft's individual part books for trumpet, clarinet, flute/oboe, alto saxophone, F horn, trombone/baritone/bassoon/string bass, and percussion parts form a cohesive curriculum that supports both section work and full-ensemble rehearsals.

Peter Boonshaft brings decades of experience as an educator and clinician to this series. Recognized as the first recipient of the National Association for Music Education's "George M. Parks Award for Leadership in Music Education," he works as Director of Education for Jupiter Band Instruments and regularly conducts and speaks with teachers across the country. His approach to ensemble development emphasizes building musicianship from the ground up through systematic, instrument-specific instruction.

Chris Bernotas collaborates on the Sound Innovations series, contributing his expertise to the comprehensive method books that support young concert bands.
